KPDNKK, MOH, MOSTI to regulate use of E-cigarette, Vape

PUTRAJAYA, Dec 29 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK) is one of three ministries which have been tasked by the government to regulate the use of electronic cigarette and vape.

The Cabinet meeting yesterday also gave tasks to two other ministries, the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), said KPDNKK in a statement today.

KPDNKK was responsible for regulating and enforcing safety standards for electronic cigarette devices and batteries and vaping devices under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Act 599).....
