Online Gambling Operators ignore Authorities, Law - MPSepang

SEPANG, Dec 29 (Bernama) -- Operators of online gambling premises here seem to be purposely undermining the law as they continue to operate despite being repeatedly raided by local authorities.

Sepang Municipal Council (MPSepang) disclosed there were operators who were raided 18 times but were back in business three hours later.

"They remain undaunted by the authorities as the existing laws do nothing to curb these activities, said MPSepang Enforcement Division deputy director Hairol Azman Razali

"MPSepang has provisions under the Cyber Centres & Cyber Cafes (MPSepang) By-Laws 2007, but our role is limited to the task of seizing things.....
