Parliament: 4,800 websites blocked from 2015 to Sept this Year - MCMC

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 22 (Bernama) -- From 2015 to the end of September this year, 4,800 websites were blocked for various offences under the law, said the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia.

In a written reply in the Dewan Rakyat today, the ministry said some of the websites were blocked upon the request of the Royal Malaysia Police under the Common Gambling Houses Act 1953.
